While the development of electronic industry take place, including PCB manufactoring, the decrease of product size and the increase of wire density has been observed. That is why, except the electric control, automatic visual inspection stays highly sought.
«Sovtest ATE» company as a part of expanding equipment for PCB/UPCB plan, begins to supply AVI systems (AVI - automatic visual inspection) manufactured by Kurabo Industries LTD., Japan. Our companies have reached the agreement and the first demonstration of this system - model BBMaster-1000VL - in Russian Federation is planed on ExpoElectronica-2020 exhebition on april of 2020.
Somtimes AVI systems can be called FAVI, because they peform the Final function of PCB inspection. That means the control of final product in terms of PCB manufactoring. As AOI is interim stage of PCB inspection or its' layers, AVI is the last link in optical control of PCB chain.
The system of automatic visual inspection (AVI) model BBMaster-1100VL have been engeneered for the following defect detection (accordinf to State All-Union standard R 56251-2014) in PCB/multilayer PCB:
- surface defects (for example: burrs, dints, scratches, hollows, fiber breakings, bare fiberglass, cavings);
- defects under the surface (for example: foreign particles, dot maculation, microfissures, lamination, halo of copper, hollows in polybase);
- conductive pattern defects (for example: inadhesion, decrease of condactive layer width or thickness as a consequence of dints, perforations, scratches, defects after plating operations and application of protective coating);
- aperture defects (for example: diametral line, alignment error, foreign matterial, defects after plating operations and application of protective coating, scratches);
- marking defects (for example: position, size, legibility, authenticity);
- soldering mask defects (for example: alignment error, bloating, blubs, lamination, physical damage, thickness);
As a conclusion, we inform you, that AVI systems devedloped by Kurabo has an optimal integration in UPCB control technology with japanese testers of PCB developed by MicroCraft, which perfectly aproved themselves on Russian market (more than 50 supplies). The usage of AOI, AVI systems and PCB electrical control provides with full testing coverage, that means the possability of detection of the maximum nuber of types and quantity of PCB defects.
