Last week in Seica’s head office there took place Sales meeting dedicated to a special event – the 30th anniversary of the leading company in the field of test and selective soldering systems manufacturing. Sovtest ATE representatives not only participated in this event but also prepared an original gift for the jubilee.
Seica was founded in 1986 in Italy, Strambino where the company’s head-office is now situated. Today Seica is one of the leading manufacturers of reliable and efficient test equipment. More than 1800 systems have been integrated at different plants round the world. The company has branches in France, the USA, China, Germany as well as widespread distribution network and it makes the company able to meet each customer’s requirements and provide them advanced equipment.
For 30 years of activity Seica has established cooperation with more than 500 companies worldwide. Among its customers there are both small enterprises and transnational corporations such as Boeing, Philips, Alcatel, SNCF, China Aerospace, Magneti Marelli and Galileo Avionica. Seica complex test solutions have main applications to avionics, industrial electronics and PCB manufacturing. However there are customers working in the field of industrial automation and safety, consumer electronics, telecommunication, transport, energy and medical industries.
Seica is a pioneer in automated electronic packages testing. It’s the 1st company in Europe who produced the flying probe tester in 1995. In 2008 Seica introduced the 1st 8-flying-probes test system – Pilot V8. For last 2 years in a row Seica has implemented more than 60 units of Pilot4D V8 tester at customers’ plants. As for Russia, there were supplied more than 15 flying probe testers of Pilot4D series.
In 2016 Seica released "knows-no-equals" test system Pilot4D V8HF for electrical control and HF (High Frequency) measurements of assembled boards by means of flying probes. Hybrid HF probes are able to measure and generate signals up to 1,6 GHz.

Sovtest ATE has been Seica’s authorized distributor since 2001. During this period Sovtest ATE has supplied more than 80 Seica test systems at Russian and the CIS plants. In honor of the company's 30th anniversary Sovtest ATE representatives presented a gift with Russian tempo – matryoshka doll with both companies' logos. The event organizers and guests duly appreciated the ingenuity of the gift.
