For almost 30 years, Sovtest ATE is the Center of Economic Cooperation and Development partner, and we have been supplying Russian and CIS enterprises with modern equipment for electronics’ and electrical products’ production and testing. Coronavirus infection has made adjustments to the operation of Sovtest ATE LLC. Most of the employees switched to remote work, the exception is the production personnel. The management of the enterprise was faced with a rather complicated organizational and technical task, but it was successfully solved.
In just a week, 170 people began to work in a new way. Regulations and instructions for remote work were developed, technical access for employees to the enterprise’s information environment was organized, and technical equipment was provided. Sanitary-epidemiological protection measures have been being taken at the factory. The management of Sovtest ATE LLC purchased protective masks for employees from small sewing companies, thereby supporting small businesses.
Now Sovtest ATE LLC has begun to focus on a new direction in its production of medical equipment. Including such equipment as HolterLive daily ECG monitors and daily blood pressure monitors. According to Igor Markov, General Director of Sovtest ATE LLC, the company uses the current situation to develop new products and solve organizational problems aimed at increasing labor productivity.
The situation with coronavirus prompted the company to produce isolation boxes for medical institutions that protect workers from an infected patient during tracheal intubation and bronchoscopy, which is especially important for severe cases of COVID-19. And this is vitally necessary today. We provided 6 of such insulation boxes as soon as possible and delivered to the hospitals of the city of Kursk.
The design-engineering department of the enterprise develops disinfection locks that can be used at checkpoints, shopping centers, enterprises and other premises. The Sovtest ATE company planning the further development in this direction. At the moment, the company is in search of potential German partners who have the desire to create a joint production of medical goods in the territory of Sovtest ATE LLC.
