Our experts passed the regular teaching course, aimed at in-depth study of VG Studio Max software. The focus of the attention is to study the facilities and features of Cast&Mold module.
To make a scan of a product – is only 30% of work, processing the inspection results and creating a report about defects claims attention and takes the rest of time. To process the results, Sovtest ATE CNDT uses software, developed by Volume Graphics*, the biggest developer of software to process the data of computer tomography.
The most common request to x-ray computer tomography is a search of different product defects: from a small cast to parts of a turbine or a gas pipe. To increase the knowledge about different algorithms of cavities searching using VG Studio Max software, CNDT staff took a part in Cast&Mold training, which was held on a Volume Graphics Academy base.
Beside modules of cavities searching the training also was concerned on the coordinate metrology modules, the analysis the product walls’ thickness, the comparison CAD data and the product segmentation.
Complement the existing knowledge and experience, CNDT staff is ready to solve brand new difficult problems.
